Back & Spine Pain

Living with Stubborn Back or Neck Pain?

Back and spine issues can leave you feeling vulnerable, not just physically, but emotionally too. If you’ve dealt with flare-ups, nerve pain, a stiff neck, or a sense your posture is getting worse, you might be wondering if anything will actually help long-term.

This service is designed for people who:

  • Deal with recurring lower, mid-back or neck discomfort
  • Experience sciatica, nerve symptoms, or pain that radiates
  • Have scoliosis, posture asymmetries, or spinal conditions like stenosis or spondylolisthesis
  • Feel tight, restricted, or misaligned in daily life
  • Have sought help before and found it short-lived or surface-level

Whether you’re navigating this for the first time or have been told “it’s just your posture,” there’s a deeper layer we can explore.

What You Might Be Experiencing

You might notice discomfort that builds after sitting too long, in a meeting, behind the wheel, or on a plane. Or maybe a simple movement like lifting something or reaching overhead sends pain shooting down your arm or leg.

Some people feel a constant pull between their shoulders or a stiff neck that leads to regular headaches. Others describe a sense of being twisted, crooked, or compressed, as if the body just isn’t stacking right anymore.

It’s common to feel unsure, frustrated, or even fearful, especially when past treatments haven’t helped, or imaging has left you with more questions than answers.

If your back or neck is interfering with the way you work, move, sleep or relax, it’s time for a more complete picture.

A Broader Look at Spine Care

We start by zooming in on the physical details: how your spine, nerves and joints are functioning. However, just as importantly, we step back to see how your whole system works together.

Your care might include:

  • Targeted physio-based assessment and testing
  • Exploration of posture, gait, mobility and agility patterns
  • Hands-on support to calm irritation or unlock movement
  • Nerve screening and movement guidance
  • Whole-body analysis to identify imbalances across shoulders, pelvis, hips, feet, and more

This is not about forcing your spine into a shape, it’s about helping your body function better with the spine you have.

What Happens in a Session

A first session lasts 60–90 minutes and is shaped by your history, your goals, and your body’s story.

You’ll get:

  • A full-body movement and postural screen
  • Relevant tests for spinal, nerve or muscular involvement
  • Simple, honest explanations about what’s going on
  • Practical strategies to relieve symptoms and build momentum
  • Personalised exercises or Whole-Body Alignment sequences to try at home

Ongoing support is always flexible and realistic, built around your schedule and capacity, not a rigid protocol.

What We’re Aiming For

Beyond short-term relief, this approach is designed to help you:

  • Sit, sleep, and move without constant discomfort
  • Restore ease in everyday motions, like walking, reaching, or turning
  • Feel grounded, supported and upright, not rigid or overcorrected
  • Understand how your spine behaves under load and how to support it
  • Gain a toolkit for flare-ups, fatigue, and postural fatigue

If scoliosis, chest asymmetry, or a long-standing diagnosis is part of your picture, we’ll meet that with curiosity and clarity, not generic advice or vague promises.

How This Stands Apart

We don’t believe in ‘cracking it back into place’ and sending you home. Your spine is part of a beautifully complex system, and we treat it that way.

What’s different here:

  • Physiotherapy informed by real-world movement patterns
  • Whole-body perspective, not symptom-chasing
  • Tools to help you move with less fear and more confidence
  • Clear, structured home plans that adapt as you improve

What we hear most often:

  • “I’ve never had my back looked at like this before.”
  • “The plan felt like something I could actually stick with.”
  • “I’m not afraid of bending or moving anymore.”
